Many popular baby products are widely sold but considered unsafe or even dangerous by Dutch safety experts. BabyProof deliberately does not recommend these products. Below we explain why per product — with sources from official bodies.

Our promise

BabyProof exclusively recommends products that meet current Dutch and European safety guidelines. We apply the 'well baby clinic test': if a midwife or pediatrician would advise against it, it's not in our app. Have questions about the safety of a specific product?
